In my Autobiography, "I Died But I Got Better", I describe the true events of how I was nearly killed, should have died and faced death a dozen times. I flew a Mini Cooper off a 100 ft cliff, crashed two helicopters, was almost murdered, had a parachute malfunction, an airplane ran out of fuel over downtown Los Angles and a half dozen other ways I've cheated death. I have looked the grim reaper in the eye so many times that we finally had lunch together.
"Tales of My Death" colorfully describes the fascinating events that led up to several of my encounters with death. But with a few additions, variations, and changes, to add more interest and excitement. True Fiction is the subtitle because well over 90 percent of this tale is absolutely true. Without the dozens of photos included in this book, no one would believe me. Which parts are real and which parts are fantasy, I will leave the reader to decide. I have had many remarkable experiences in my lifetime. I invite you to experience, with me, one exciting adventure after another in a half dozen foreign countries during the late 60's and early 70's.
